So, i'm a little late to the Mad Men trend, but with my usual shows on hiatus for the summer, I figured this show could help feed my Revenge cravings until it returns in September!
This outfit is inspired by Joan, who is played by Christina Hendricks, and Peggy, played by Elizabeth Moss. Joan is known for her hour glass figure and curve hugging outfits on Mad Men. Joan always look impeccable, from head to toe!
Peggy, on the other hand, finds that her choice in fashion is often questioned by her male AND female co-workers. She tends to downplay her figure by wearing frumpy dresses or even "dressing like a little girl" as Joan once snapped. Talk about cattiness and lack of girl power at Sterling Copper!
The blouse and skirt are both youthful and tasteful, but still mature enough to wear in an office environment. Coupled with the purse, shoes and jewelry, you can take this look from the office to after dinner drinks and dinner.
